Nice Looking Strap Walking Shoe Very Well Made

Posted by Lynne on 24th Mar 2016

Purchased this shoe for husband who had a stroke and needed the sole with the good treads and the straps for ease of putting them on. The straps could be longer for the purpose of getting them to secure over his leg brace once inside the shoe. But we get them elongated at a shoe store.
Quality if better than other strap shoes I've seen on the market and can get them in extra wide to accommodate the leg brace.

Great Walking Shoe

This is my 3rd pair of V90M Men's Strap Walker in Black. The first 2 pairs were size 9.5. The newest I ordered in size 10. Pay attention to the suggestion to order .5 size larger that you normally wear. I ordered the size 10 in a medium width. My only complaint is minor. The straps could have been a quarter inch longer. On the other hand, the straps on the 9.5 shoes, also mediums, are about a quarter inch too long.

One odd bit about the shoes. The first time I ordered a pair from the factory they were labeled as Aetrex. The second pair I purchased from a vendor. They were labeled as Apex. The 3rd pair were ordered from the factory as Aetrex. They arrived in an Aetrex box but are labeled as Apex shoes. The only difference I can see is in the flip-flop in the "boomerangs" that make up the logo on the shoes.

The shoes are very rugged with respect to wear. I'll buy a 4th pair when the times comes!

Like the convenience of Straps

Like the convenience of straps and the quality of these shoes, but for a stroke patient who is using an AFO leg brace, we are having a cobbler lengthen the velcro straps on the left shoe so the shoe can be strapped/secured correctly.
But really like these shoes.
